حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُهَيْلَ بْنَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا

صَلَّيْتُمْ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَصَلُّوا أَرْبَعًا فَإِنْ عَجِلَ بِكَ شَيْءٌ فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ إِذَا رَجَعْتَ قَالَ ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ وَلَا أَدْرِي هَذَا مِنْ حَدِيثِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمْ لَا

English Translation

Ibn Idris narrated to us, who said: I heard Suhayl ibn Abi Salih mention from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If you pray after Jumu'ah, pray four rak'ahs. If something urgent comes up, pray two rak'ahs (in the mosque) and two rak'ahs when you return (home).' Ibn Idris said: 'I do not know if this is part of the hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or not.'
