English Translation

Waki', Ya'la, and Muhammad — the two sons of 'Ubayd — narrated to us, saying: al-A'mash informed us from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the son of Adam recites a verse of prostration and prostrates, Shaytan withdraws weeping and says: Woe to him! He was commanded to prostrate and he prostrated, so he will have Paradise. And I was commanded to prostrate and I disobeyed, so I will have the Fire.'
