Hadith #106

English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sulayman, from Dhakwan, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever kills himself with a piece of iron, his iron will be in his hand, thrusting it into his belly in the Fire of Jahannam, abiding therein forever. And whoever kills himself with poison, he will be sipping it in the Fire of Jahannam, abiding therein forever. And whoever throws himself from a mountain and kills himself, he will be throwing himself in the Fire of Jahannam, abiding therein forever.'
