حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ الْقُرْدُوسِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ

Body (Matn)

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يَخْطُبُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَسْتَامُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا وَلَا تَسْأَلُ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ صَحْفَتَهَا وَلِتُنْكَحَ فَإِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهَا

English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Hisham al-Qurdusi narrated to us, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'Let not any of you propose marriage over the proposal of his brother until he either marries or withdraws.'
