'Abd Allah ibn Bakr al-Sahmi narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A woman is married for four things: her wealth, her lineage, her beauty, and her religion. So win the one with religion, may your hands be rubbed with dust [i.e., may you prosper].'
