English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Hisham informed us — and Yazid said: Hisham informed us — from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'When one of you meets his brother, let him greet him with salam. If a tree, a wall, or a rock separates them, then they meet again, let him greet him again.'
