َبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا وَقَبْلَهُ يَوْمٌ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ يَوْمٌ

English Translation

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not fast on Friday unless [you fast] a day before it or a day after it.'
