English Translation

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, al-A'mash informed us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When any of you is fasting, let him not speak obscenely or act ignorantly. If someone fights with him or insults him, let him say: I am fasting, I am fasting.'
