حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ وَيَعْلَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأ
َعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ عَبْدِي فَكُلُّكُمْ عَبْدٌ وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ فَتَايَ وَلَا يَقُلْ رَبِّي فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ اللَّهُ وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ سَيِّدِي

English Translation
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us — and Ya'la said: al-A'mash informed us — from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Let not any of you say: Woe is time (wicked time)! For indeed Allah is Time. And let not any of you say: O wicked time! For indeed Allah is Time.'
