English Translation

Isma'il narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: When one of you sleeps, three knots are tied on his head with silk. If he wakes up and remembers Allah (عز وجل), one is untied. If he performs wudu', another is untied. If he prays, [the third] is untied, and he wakes up energetic and in good spirits. Otherwise, he wakes up lazy and in bad spirits.
