English Translation

Ammar ibn Muhammad—he is the nephew of Sufyan—narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Abu Iyad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The parable of knowledge that is not benefited from is like the parable of a treasure from which nothing is spent in the cause of Allah (عز وجل).'
