حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي

سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَةُ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ

English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad informed us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Charity is only from surplus wealth. The upper hand is better than the lower hand. Begin with those in your care.'
