English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad informed us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'None of you will be saved by his deeds.' We said: 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Not even me, unless Allah encompasses me with mercy from Him and grace. But strive for correctness and nearness, and go to the masjid in the early morning, the late afternoon, and part of the night. And be moderate, be moderate, and you will reach your destination.'
