English Translation

Yazid narrated to us, Sufyan ibn Husayn informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Whoever enters a horse between two horses (in a race) while not knowing whether his horse will win, that is not gambling. And whoever enters a horse between two horses knowing that his horse will win, that is gambling.'
