English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr informed us, from Asim, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not artificially inflate prices (najash). Do not be resentful of one another. Do not hate one another. Do not turn your backs on one another. Do not undercut one another's sales. Be servants of Allah, brothers. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim: he does not wrong him, forsake him, or look down upon him. Piety is here'—and he pointed to his chest three times. 'It is enough evil for a person to look down upon his Muslim brother. Every Muslim's blood, wealth, and honor are sacred to another Muslim.'
