حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ جُرِحَ ج

ُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَهَيْئَتِهِ لَوْنُهُ لَوْنُ الدَّمِ وَرِيحُهُ رِيحُ الْمِسْكِ قَالَ أَبِي و حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ شَرِيكٍ أَيْضًا يَعْنِي أَسْوَدَ

English Translation

Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever is wounded in the cause of Allah—and Allah knows best who is truly wounded in His cause—will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound bleeding. Its color is the color of blood and its scent is the scent of musk.'
