Hadith #407

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَامِرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ فَلَمَّا رَأَى مَا بِهِمْ مِنْ الْحَاجَةِ خَرَجَ إِلَى الْبَرِيَّةِ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْ امْرَأَتُهُ قَامَتْ إِلَى الرَّحَى فَوَضَعَتْهَا وَإِلَى التَّنُّورِ فَسَجَرَتْهُ ثُمَّ قَالَتْ اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا فَنَظَرَتْ فَإِذَا الْجَفْنَةُ قَد
ْ امْتَلَأَتْ قَالَ وَذَهَبَتْ إِلَى التَّنُّورِ فَوَجَدَتْهُ مُمْتَلِئًا قَالَ فَرَجَعَ الزَّوْجُ قَالَ أَصَبْتُمْ بَعْدِي شَيْئًا قَالَتْ امْرَأَتُهُ نَعَمْ مِنْ رَبِّنَا قَامَ إِلَى الرَّحَى فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَوْ لَمْ يَرْفَعْهَا لَمْ تَزَلْ تَدُورُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ لَأَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَبِيرًا ثُمَّ يَحْمِلَهُ يَبِيعَهُ فَيَسْتَعِفَّ مِنْهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ رَجُلًا يَسْأَلُهُ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Ibn Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr informed us, from Hisham, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: A man came to his family and when he saw the poverty they were in, he went out to the wilderness. When his wife saw this, she stood at the mill and put the pot on the stove. Then she supplicated to Allah. The man returned and found food. He said: 'Where is this from?' She said: 'From the provision of Allah.' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, this hadith has been revealed from heaven upon seven heavens.'
