English Translation

Rawh narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abi Hafsah narrated to us, Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from Abu Ubayd, the freed slave of Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When any of you performs the prayer for the people, let him lighten it, for among them are the sick, the weak, and the elderly. And when he prays alone, let him prolong as he wishes.'
