English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us—and Abdullah ibn al-Harith, from Ibn Jurayj—Musa ibn Uqbah informed me, from Nafi', that Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Every day the sun rises, there is charity due on every joint of a person. Mediating justly between two people is charity. Helping a man mount his riding animal or lifting his luggage onto it is charity. A good word is charity. Every step to prayer is charity. And removing something harmful from the road is charity.'
