English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'None of you will be saved by his deeds.' They said: 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Not even me, unless Allah encompasses me with mercy. But strive for correctness and nearness, and go in the morning, the afternoon, and part of the night. Be moderate, be moderate, and you will reach your destination.'
