حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أ

َبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا فَتَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ غَيْرِ ذِكْرٍ إِلَّا تَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ مِثْلِ جِيفَةِ حِمَارٍ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ الْمَجْلِسُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

English Translation

Rawh narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'No group of people sits in a gathering and then disperses without mentioning Allah (عز وجل) in it, except that it will be like they dispersed from the carcass of a donkey, and it will be a source of regret for them.'
