حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلّ
َمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْعُطَاسَ وَيَكْرَهُ التَّثَاؤُبَ فَإِذَا تَثَاءَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَقَالَ هَاهْ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ شَيْطَانٌ يَضْحَكُ مِنْ جَوْفِهِ

English Translation
Al-Dahhak narrated to us, Ibn Ajlan narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah loves sneezing and dislikes yawning. When one of you sneezes and praises Allah, it is a right upon every Muslim who hears him to say: Yarhamuk Allah (May Allah have mercy on you). As for yawning, it is from Shaytan. So when one of you yawns, let him suppress it as much as he can, for when one of you says: Ha!, Shaytan laughs at him.'
