حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ص

English Translation

Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Abu Awanah informed us, from Umar ibn Abi Salamah, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'When one drinks wine, flog him. If he drinks it again, flog him. If he drinks it again, flog him. Then if he does it a fourth time, strike his neck.'
