ُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَشْتَرِيَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَقَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ لَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

English Translation

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan — and Abu Nu'aym said: Sufyan narrated to us — from Salih, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited a man from selling over the sale of his brother, or proposing marriage over the proposal of his brother.
