حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ رَاشِدٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْر
َةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا طِيَرَةَ وَخَيْرُهَا الْفَأْلُ قِيلَ وَمَا الْفَأْلُ قَالَ الْكَلِمَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ يَسْمَعُهَا أَحَدُكُمْ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah عز وجل created Adam عليه السلام in His image. His height was sixty cubits. Then He said: Go and greet those angels and listen to how they respond to you, for it shall be your greeting and the greeting of your progeny. So he went and said: Peace be upon you. They replied: Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah. They added: and the mercy of Allah. So everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam, sixty cubits tall. People have been diminishing in stature since then.'
