حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ نَهَارٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ ا
للَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى لَيَسْأَلُ الْعَبْدَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يَقُولَ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذْ رَأَيْتَ الْمُنْكَرَ تُنْكِرُهُ فَإِذَا لَقَّنَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا حُجَّتَهُ قَالَ يَا رَبِّ وَثِقْتُ بِكَ وَفَرِقْتُ مِنْ النَّاسِ

English Translation
Abu Salamah narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Bilal informed us, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from Nahar al-'Abdi, who heard him narrating from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Were it not that I would burden my Ummah — or the people — I would have commanded them to use the siwak with every prayer and to delay 'Isha to a third of the night. Whoever uses the siwak is performing that which Allah loves.'
