English Translation
Hammad ibn Khalid narrated to us, 'Abdullah, meaning al-'Umari, narrated to us, from al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The izar of the believer should reach to mid-shin. There is no sin between that and the ankles. What is below the ankles is in the Fire. Whoever trails his izar out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him.'
