حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ الثَّلَاثَةِ يَجْتَمِعُونَ فَتَحْضُرُهُمْ الصَّلَاةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَن
ْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا اجْتَمَعَ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَلْيَؤُمَّهُمْ أَحَدُهُمْ وَأَحَقُّهُمْ بِالْإِمَامَةِ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us — and he was asked about three people who gather and the prayer time comes — he said: Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When there are three, let one of them lead them in prayer, and the one most deserving of leading them is the one who has the most Quran.'
