Hadith #441

قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ الْمَازِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ
قَالَ لَهُ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تُحِبُّ الْغَنَمَ وَالْبَادِيَةَ فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ أَوْ بَادِيَتِكَ فَأَذَّنْتَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ بِالنِّدَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ جِنٌّ وَلَا إِنْسٌ وَلَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
He (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that i read before 'Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Sa'sa'ah al-Mazini, from his father, that Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) said to him: 'I see that you love sheep and the desert. So when you are among your sheep or in your desert and you call the adhan for prayer, raise your voice with the call, for no jinn, human, or anything within hearing range hears the voice of the mu'adhdhin except that it will testify for him on the Day of Resurrection.' Abu Sa'id said: I heard this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
