حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِ

يدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا اجْتَمَعَ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَلْيَؤُمَّهُمْ أَحَدُهُمْ وَأَحَقُّهُمْ بِالْإِمَامَةِ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ

English Translation

Abu 'Amir narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'When there are three people, let one of them lead them in prayer, and the one most deserving of leading them is the one who recites the most Quran.'
