English Translation

Abu 'Ubaydah narrated to us, Yunus ibn Abi Ishaq narrated to us, from Mujalid, from Abu al-Waddak Jabr ibn Nawf, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'On the Day of Resurrection, death will be brought in the form of a handsome ram. It will be made to stand between Paradise and the Fire. Then it will be said: O people of Paradise! And they will stretch their necks and look. It will be said: Do you know what this is? They will say: Yes, this is death. Then it will be said: O people of the Fire! And they will stretch their necks and look. It will be said: Do you know what this is? They will say: Yes, this is death. Then it will be slaughtered, and it will be said: O people of Paradise, eternity and no more death! O people of the Fire, eternity and no more death!'
