حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي س
َعِيدٍ عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ جَارٌ فَقِيرٌ فَيَدْعُوَهُ فَيَأْكُلَ مَعَهُ أَوْ يَكُونَ ابْنَ سَبِيلٍ أَوْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ

English Translation
Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us, from Firas, from 'Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ who said: 'Charity is not permissible for a wealthy person except in five cases: one who is appointed to collect it, a warrior in the cause of Allah, a wealthy person who buys it with his own money, a poor person who receives charity and gives it as a gift to a wealthy person, or a debtor.'
