حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ و
َأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ هَبَطَ فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَيُعْطَى هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ فَيُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ

English Translation
Surayj narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Agharr Abu Muslim who said: I bear witness upon Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) and Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that they testified that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'No people sit in a gathering remembering Allah except that the angels surround them, mercy covers them, tranquility descends upon them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him.'
