English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه) who said: Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'On the Day of Resurrection, the earth will be a single loaf of bread, which the Almighty will turn with His Hand as one of you turns his loaf of bread while traveling, as a feast for the people of Paradise.' A Jewish man came and said: 'May the Most Merciful bless you, O Abu al-Qasim! Shall I not inform you of the feast of the people of Paradise?' He said: 'Indeed.' He said: 'The earth will be a single loaf of bread,' as the Prophet ﷺ had said. the Prophet ﷺ looked at us and then laughed until his molars were visible. He said: 'Shall I not inform you of their condiment? Their condiment will be balam and nun [a type of fish].' They said: 'What is this?' He said: 'An ox and a fish. Seventy thousand people will eat from the lobe of their liver.'
