حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي

سَعِيدٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَسُبُّوا أَصْحَابِي فَلَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَنْفَقَ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا مَا بَلَغَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ وَلَا نَصِيفَهُ

English Translation

Hashim narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Dhakwan, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Do not curse my Companions, for if one of you were to spend the like of Mount Uhud in gold, it would not equal a mudd of one of them, nor even half of it.'
