English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Dawud informed us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) who said: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we are in a land abundant with lizards. What do you command us?' He said: 'I was told that a nation from the Children of Israel was transformed [into animals]. I do not know whether this is from them or not.' He said: 'I neither eat it nor prohibit it.'
