حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي
سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ وَعَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلَوْ سَلَكَ النَّاسُ فِي وَادٍ أَوْ شِعْبٍ وَسَلَكَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ وَادِيًا أَوْ شِعْبًا لَسَلَكْتُ وَادِيَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَشِعْبَهُمْ

English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from 'Asim ibn 'Umar ibn Qatadah, from Mahmud ibn Labid, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه); and from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The small amount of water is not made impure by anything, and the small amount of food is not made impure by anything.'
