حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ بْنَ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ أَهْلَ قُرَيْظَةَ لَمَّا نَزَلُوا عَلَى حُكْمِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُومُوا إِلَى سَيِّدِكُمْ أَوْ إِلَى خَيْرِكُمْ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ نَزَلُوا عَلَى حُكْمِكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَحْكُمُ أَنْ يُقْتَلَ مُقَاتِلَتُهُمْ وَتُسْبَى ذَرَارِيُّهُمْ قَالَ لَقَدْ حَكَمْتَ بِحُكْمِ الْمَلِكِ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Sa'd ibn Ibrahim informed us, he said: I heard Abu Umamah ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf narrate from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) that when the people of Qurayzah came down [surrendered] on the judgment of Sa'd ibn Mu'adh (رضي الله عنه), the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent for him and he came riding a donkey. When he drew near, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Stand for your master.' He came and sat beside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said: 'These people have come down on your judgment.' He said: 'I judge that their warriors be killed and their women and children be taken captive.' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'You have judged by the judgment of Allah' — or: 'by the judgment of the King.'
