English Translation

Bahz narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the nineteenth of Ramadan. He said: 'I was shown Laylat al-Qadr, then I was made to forget it. So seek it in the last ten on the odd nights. I saw [in a dream] that I was prostrating in water and mud.' It rained on the night of the twenty-first, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the evening prayer with us, and I saw traces of water and mud on his forehead and nose.
