Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَدَّاكِ جَبْرُ بْنُ نَوْفٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَصَبْنَا حُمُرًا يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَكَانَتْ الْقُدُورُ تَغْلِي بِهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَي
ْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا هَذِهِ فَقُلْنَا حُمُرٌ أَصَبْنَاهَا فَقَالَ وَحْشِيَّةٌ أَوْ أَهْلِيَّةٌ قَالَ قُلْنَا لَا بَلْ أَهْلِيَّةٌ قَالَ اكْفِئُوهَا قَالَ فَكَفَأْنَاهَا

English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, from Yunus, Abu al-Waddak Jabr ibn Nawf narrated to us, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) who said: We acquired donkeys on the day of Khaybar, and the cooking pots were boiling with them. the Prophet ﷺ commanded that they be overturned and said: "Indeed Allah and His Messenger prohibit you from the flesh of domesticated donkeys, for it is an abomination."
