English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah ibn Abi Bakr informed us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) — and Yunus, from al-Hasan — who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or oppressed." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I can help him if he is oppressed, but how do I help him if he is the oppressor?" He said: "You restrain him from oppression — that is how you help him."
