حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَ

ادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُضَحِّي بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ وَكَانَ يُسَمِّي وَيُكَبِّرُ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِيَدِهِ وَاضِعًا عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا قَدَمَهُ

English Translation

Hushaym narrated to us, Shu'bah informed us, from Qatadah, Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated to us, he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to sacrifice two horned rams that were white with black markings. He would slaughter them with his own hand, mention the name of Allah, and say 'Allahu Akbar', placing his foot on their sides.
