حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ أَبُو خِدَاشٍ الْيُحْمَدِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مَا أَعْرِفُ شَيْئًا الْيَوْمَ

مِمَّا كُنَّا عَلَيْهِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قُلْنَا لَهُ فَأَيْنَ الصَّلَاةُ قَالَ أَوَلَمْ تَصْنَعُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ مَا قَدْ عَلِمْتُمْ

أبا عمران الجوني يقول

English Translation

Ziyad ibn al-Rabi' Abu Khidash al-Yuhmadi narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu 'Imran al-Jawni saying: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) saying: I do not recognize anything today from what we were upon during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. It was said: What about the prayer? He said: Have you not done to it what you have done?
