English Translation
Ibn Abi 'Adi narrated to us, from Humayd, who said: Anas (رضي الله عنه) was asked: "Did the Prophet ﷺ raise his hands [in supplication]?" He said: On a Friday, it was said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, the rain has stopped and the livestock are dying. Pray to Allah to send us rain." He raised his hands and supplicated, and the sky was like glass [clear]. Before he came down [from the minbar], it began raining until I saw it pouring from his beard. The next Friday, they said: "O Messenger of Allah, the houses are being destroyed." He smiled and said: "O Allah, around us and not upon us." The clouds dispersed from Madinah.
