English Translation

Ibn Abi 'Adiyy narrated from Humayd, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man being supported between his two sons, walking with difficulty. He asked: 'What is the matter with him?' They said: 'He vowed to walk.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed Allah has no need for this man to torture himself,' and he ordered him to ride.
