حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ سَمِعَهُ مِنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ سَقَطَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ فَرَسٍ فَجُحِشَ شِقُّهُ الْأَيْمَنُ فَدَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ نَعُودُهُ فَحَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّى قَاعِدًا وَصَلَّيْنَا قُعُودًا فَلَ
مَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً فَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَإِنْ صَلَّى قَاعِدًا فَصَلُّوا قُعُودًا أَجْمَعُونَ

English Translation
Sufyan narrated from al-Zuhri, who heard it from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Prophet ﷺ fell from a horse and his right side was scraped. We entered upon him to visit him, and the time for prayer came. He prayed sitting, and we prayed sitting behind him. When he finished, he said: 'The imam is appointed to be followed. When he says the Takbir, say the Takbir; when he prostrates, prostrate; when he rises, rise; and when he says 'Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah,' say 'Rabbana wa laka al-hamd'; and when he prays sitting, then all of you pray sitting.'
