حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الثَّعْلَبِي
ِّ عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سَأَلَ الْقَضَاءَ وُكِلَ إِلَيْهِ وَمَنْ أُجْبِرَ عَلَيْهِ نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيُسَدِّدُهُ

English Translation
Waki' narrated from Isra'il, from 'Abd al-A'la al-Tha'labi, from Bilal ibn Abi Musa, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever seeks the position of judge and seeks help for it through intermediaries will be left to himself. And whoever is compelled to accept it, Allah will send down an angel to him who will guide him to what is right.'
