English Translation
Waki' narrated from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I have been harmed for the sake of Allah عز وجل more than anyone else has been harmed, and I have been frightened for the sake of Allah more than anyone else has been frightened. I spent thirty days and nights with nothing that a living being could eat except what Bilal could conceal under his arm.'
