English Translation

Yazid ibn Harun informed us from Humayd, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ was asked by a man about the time of the Fajr prayer. He ordered Bilal to call the adhan when dawn broke, and he prayed. The next day he delayed it until it was well-lit. Then he said: 'Where is the one who asked about the time of the prayer? It is between these two.'
