حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ عَمْر

ِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ ثَمَانٍ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الْعَدُوِّ

English Translation

Yazid ibn Harun informed us from al-Mas'udi, from 'Amr ibn Abi 'Amr, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge from eight things: worry, grief, incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, the burden of debt, and the domination of men.
